Firefox 3.5 Release Scheduled for Tomorrow

Mozilla announced that version 3.5 of the Firefox browser will be released tomorrow.  Some of the new features include a faster javascript engine (used to produce a lot of cool animations and other fun web things), support for HTML5 (for creating even more cool web stuff), private browsing, tab tearing (drag a tab to the desktop to open a new instance of Firefox), geo-location (uses our wifi to determine – approximately – where we are) and several goodies that help us recover from some of those OOPS! moments we all have.

I’ve been a beta tester for v3.5 and I’ve found a significant improvement in stability and performance on my Mac.

If you aren’t already using Firefox or just can’t wait to upgrade, stop by the site tomorrow and download the digital researcher’s best friend.  Firefox users who aren’t in a rush will soon receive an upgrade notice in their browser.
